As a Software Consultant & Developer at Atomic Object my goal is to collaborate with clients, designers, and the team at large to deliver user-friendly, accessible software that helps us as humans become better connected.

Prior to working as a software developer I earned two degrees in music in the area of  composition and theory. I have found my education in music theory to be invaluable to my work as a developer. Music and software alike are built up from their smallest components each following unique rules on structure and syntax. I love to learn and implement these rules, but equally enjoyable is experimenting with the ways existing structures can be stretched, pulled, broken, and fixed. This is what I love most about building great software, it is always evolving.

Outside of work I can be found taking in live music and art around Chicago, playing the keyboard, and walking my cat, Toby Keith, around the neighborhood.
