Software Consultant & Developer
My love for computers started at a young age with my family's slow and bulky desktop computer. The whirling black box enthralled me, not just with how it worked but how I could use it to connect to online communities and an infinite array of knowledge. This intrigue landed me in my high school's computer programming classes, where I scratched the surface of what computers can do. I could finally answer the question, "What do you want to do with your life?" for the first time.
This newfound clarity helped me decide to study computer science at Purdue University Fort Wayne. My favorite course in university was Senior Capstone, where my team built an interactive language learning platform. Working in that collaborative environment helped me realize that I thrive on creating impactful solutions that improve the everyday lives of others.
Soon after university, I started work at a software consulting agency where I built custom software solutions for large enterprises. I'm excited to work now with the Atomic Object team, growing professionally and personally.
When I'm away from my desk, you'll probably find me exploring the Grand Rapids trails, trying new restaurants, or lurking on Twitter, catching up on the latest business news.
