Sivabudh Umpudh

With us since March 2011.

Prior to joining AO, I spent 6 years working extensively in the C++ world (with lots of help from Qt, Intel TBB, and Boost) developing software solutions for the defense industry at Raytheon Applied Signal Technology in Los Angeles, California.

I decided to travel more than 2000 miles to join AO in Grand Rapids, Michigan because of my burning desire to broaden my software knowledge and learn from great people.

Presently, I’m working on web applications using Ruby on Rails.

During my time at Raytheon, I was involved in many projects, including

• ProSAS Surveyor, a sonar system used to produce high-resolution images of ocean seabed
• Cyber Intelligence applications
• Improving internal development process

I received my MS in Computer Science in 2009 from USC and a BS in Electrical Engineering (with Computer Engineering emphasis) from UCLA.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and close friends, running, and following the Chicago Bulls.
