We know what we want to be when we grow up…

Atomic Object was five years old in September of 2006. At that time we decided to limit ourselves to no more than 20 people. We will be great and not big.

Knowing that most of the people at Atomic Object are already with us has shifted our thinking in very profound ways. We now redirect much of the time and energy spent on finding, training, helping, and acculturating new people into growing and expanding the skills of the people we have. Every hour we spend on teaching, learning and improving increases our collective value as a company.

Limiting our size, in fact, inspires incredible creativity in growing revenue and defining success. Refining our processes, entering new business domains, pursuing creative deals, doing more fun projects, testing the heretofore untestable, working even better with customers, delivering more value in less time, building a consulting/training business, developing our people, finding new approaches to old problems, mastering new technologies, innovating on business structure, building on our reputation, spreading our name, serving the communities we’re a part of – these types of achievements represent how we grow and define success.
