Dustin Tinney

Dustin received his B.S. in Computer Science from Grand Valley State University in 2003.

Dustin worked on Grand Valley State University’s web team in their institutional marketing department for 4 years. While there, he acquired experience using technologies such as Coldfusion, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to produce web based applications.

Most recently, Dustin worked with a small drug research startup on a Ruby on Rails application. While there, he helped develop an application to aid the discovery of drug candidates. He gained experience using Ruby, Rails, Ajax, SOLR and many other buzz word technologies commonly associated with web 2.0.

As well as gaining a strong knowledge of web design and programming, Dustin has also focused on usability, further developing web application frameworks, web standards, and information architecture.

Since joining AO, Dustin has enjoyed contributing to the team while learning and working in an Agile environment. He has been a part of projects using C#, Java, Ruby, C++, and Ruby On Rails.
