Chris Farber

With us since Fall 2011.

I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2011 with a B.S. in Computer Science.

After buying my first Apple, an early 2005 PowerBook, I immersed myself in Objective-C and Cocoa. Shortly afterwards, I released the first version of Sidekick with two of my friends.

During college, I worked for GVSU’s Institutional Marketing department as a student web developer. Here I created web applications and tools for faculty and students, including a new online system for managing student internships.

Other projects I have worked on include:

  • GVSU Laker Tour for iPhone.
  • Google’s 2007 Summer of Code, where I contributed to GNUstep’s Key-Value Coding and Key-Value Observing implementations.

In my free time, you might find me taking photos, or rowing the gears in my Volkswagen 2.slow.
