Carl Erickson to participate in a panel on entrepreneurship at the Michigan Conference on Affordable Housing

Carl Erickson, President of Atomic Object, will be one of three panelists speaking to the subject of “New economy entrepreneurs—what they do and what they need to succeed” at the Michigan Conference on Affordable Housing on June 4, 2009.

In addition to Erickson, the panel includes representatives of Google and Digerati Solutions.

The panel will explore why next-generation entrepreneurs are choosing the neighborhoods and communities they are, and the impact and opportunities that result from bringing in high-paying jobs and new talent to the neighborhood.

“I’m excited to share Atomic’s story and my insights at the conference. With twenty-odd employees, most of who are in their 20s or 30s, all highly educated and skilled, half of whom walk or ride their bikes to work in our core-city office—I think we’ve got something worth sharing,” said Erickson.
